BLOOMINGTON, IN. – The Center for Cultural Affairs (CCA) at Indiana University’s O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs is proud to announce that three of our faculty directors were named research fellows at the Creative Industries Policy and Evidence Centre (Creative PEC) in March 2024.
Joanna Woronkowicz, an Associate Professor at the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs in Bloomington, Doug Noonan, a Professor at the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at IU Indianapolis, and Michael Rushton, a Professor at the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs in Bloomington, will collaborate with prominent scholars from diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise in the Creative PEC's Research Fellows Network. The faculty directors at the CCA will exchange research and policy knowledge through various avenues such as seminars, blogs, discussion papers, and small thematic research networks. “We are pleased to be appointed to the Creative Industries Policy and Evidence Centre Research Fellows Network at Newcastle University. This opportunity will give the CCA a stronger presence in the global conversation about research and public policy for the creative industries,” stated Joanna Woronkowicz, faculty director of the CCA.
The Creative Industries Policy and Evidence Centre (Creative PEC) is led by Newcastle University in collaboration with the Royal Society of Arts and funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council in the United Kingdom (UK). The Centre supports the growth of the UK’s creative industries through independent evidence and policy advice. Core consortium members of Creative PEC are Newcastle University, Work Advance, University of Sussex, and University of Sheffield.
